Woodward Governor acquires MPC Products Corporation

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of MPC Products Corporation by the Woodward Governor Company. MPC and Woodward have carefully assessed the relationship and determined that both companies have complementary strategies and product offerings, similar company values, and with Woodward support MPC will continue to offer world class performance.

Woodward designs, manufactures, and services energy control systems and components for aircraft and industrial engines and turbines. Woodward offers products and services in aerospace, power generation, process industry, and transportation markets. Founded in 1870, Woodward serves its customers through manufacturing and sales facilities, distributors and dealers worldwide. Woodward is headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Under Woodward, MPC will be expanding its capability in aerospace motion control systems and components. Woodward's industry-leading aerospace system integration, hydraulic actuation, electronic controls, pumps and valves, and fuel controls will enhance the ability to offer a total system solution to our customers. MPC will become a fourth operating segment of Woodward and will be entitled Woodward-MPC Airframe Systems.
