Tachometers
For system stability and rate control, we offer tachometers in AC or Brushless DC configurations.

Brakes
We provide electromagnetic holding brakes that utilize the same construction techniques and materials as our motors. High-torque dynamic brakes, which provide braking action through hysteresis rather than friction torque, are also available.

Eddy Current Dampers
Woodward MPC supplies Eddy current dampers with rolling element contacts on all moving surfaces which prevent frictional-damping interference. The precision jig-bored housings and planet carriers ensure smooth operation. All components are precision-piloted for tight concentricity tolerances during assembly.
