Environmental Testing : Climate
The Woodward MPC environmental test lab has the equipment and expertise to simulate a wide variety of tough climatic conditions in accordance with military, commercial, and custom standards. Temperature (-100°F to +350°F), humidity (20 to 95%), and altitude (100,000 ft) may be combined in one chamber to simulate icing conditions. Other temperature chambers range from -265°F to +600°F (-164°C to +315°C). The salt fog/spray chamber injects a salt mist which can be combined with sulfur dioxide to simulate road, runway, and aircraft carrier environments. Thermal shock is performed using one chamber with two zones
