State-of-the-Art Test Equipment Woodward MPC’s test equipment group fully supports the environmental test lab by providing all fixtures and support electronics required to perform environmental testing. The Woodward MPC environmental test lab utilizes state-of-the-art test equipment for simulating natural and induced environments and performing data acquisition. Mechanical (vibration, load, and life) test fixtures and electronic (control and monitor) test equipment are designed and manufactured in-house. All test equipment is highly accurate, and the calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). As a convenience to the customer, Woodward MPC’s test equipment group also provides power sources (maximum of 1200V, 100A DC, or 60kW AC, 45-1000Hz), 32-channel strip-chart recorders, and data acquisition systems as well as hand and power tools for short-term use, based upon availability.
