Environmental Testing : HALT TESTING & HASS TESTING

Woodward MPC’s HALT Testing and HASS Testing Facility, located on the border of Chicago, in Skokie, Illinois, has the capability to perform HALT Testing (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS Testing (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening).

HALT consists of accelerated reliability testing which allows our customers to identify design defects early in a product's development phase. HASS screens production units for workmanship and latent defects, thereby improving the product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Our HALT chamber and HASS chamber combines 6 degrees of freedom (6 DOF) random vibration up to 60 g rms (5 to 5,000 Hz) with rapid thermal cycling over 60 degrees C/minute between -120 degrees C and +200 degrees C. The chamber can also be used for Reliability Enhancement Testing (RET). The internal work area is 48"W x 48"L x 67"H with a total capacity of 1000 Lbs.
